Phase 2

Beyond 2026

CATE intends to achieve its initial 5-year objectives and be well on track towards its 10-year goals.  With the CATE Sports Academy in place, CATE will be able to significantly expand its partnerships with the community schools and organizations, providing both on-premise training opportunities and also in-facility programs. In addition, after having honed its ADP platform over the first 5 years with tennis as the main sport, CATE will be in position to fold in other complementary, competitive sports including soccer, basketball, volleyball, racquetball, squash and track. With its own facility, CATE will also expand its repertoire to include revenue generating programa and partnerships targeted at youth, adults, coaches and the community. These include:

  • Sports Training: Youth & adult group and private lessons; with scholarships made available to kids from local under-resourced communities.
  • Tournament Play: Host paid competitive tournaments across applicable sports. E.g., for tennis: 40+ weeks of USTA and UTR tournament play, USTA Player Development Wild Card Playoff, USTAF NJTL Excellence Cup, USTAF NJTL Excellence Team Workout.
  • Hosting Local Universities & High Schools: Many local colleges/universities and high schools lack needed sports facilities.
  • “Training the Trainer” Coaches Training: Online training courses, in-person workshops, certifications, mentorship.
  • Fitness Center Classes: Utilize the fitness center to host fitness training sessions, both virtual and in-person.
  • Utilizing Hard Court Spaces: Leveraging the racquetball and basketball courts to host other sports on an as-needed basis during off-peak usage hours. E.g., supporting classes for yoga, Pilates, spinning, Zumba, martial arts, etc.
  • Community and Corporate Events: Involve the community in sporting competitive and exhibition events.
  • CATE Sports Academy established
